Summer Camp Activities

Project URGE has encouraged and assisted churches in partnering with summer camps, such as Community Lutheran Ministry, since 2002. The youth get to travel and see different parts of Rochester's surrounding area. This helps lessen the burden on the organizations and opens the door to new possibilities for the youth. It is win/win for everyone. The kids are treated to a multitude of activities and Bible studies. Consider having your church contribute to supporting or hosting a couple days of summer camp. It's a terrific way for churches to step into the lives of these children and have urban/suburban/rural children share the joys together!
