Introduction

The key is starting where you are. If everyone does a little, a lot will get done. God never blesses good intentions. God blesses obedient action that is based on the right heart attitude.

Project URGE believes that we must model our faith by living out the core message of the Bible.

“Love the Lord your God with all you heart and with all you soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”  Matthew 22:37-40

“Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in our power to act.”  Proverbs 3:27

“How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!”  Psalm 133:1

“The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough.”   Matthew 13:33

Statement of Faith

Project URGE ascribes to the Apostle's Creed as our statement of faith, which is written below.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
and Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:

Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
born of the virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;

He descended into hell.

The third day He arose again from the dead;

He ascended into heaven,
and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost;
the holy catholic church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting.
