About Project URGE

Rooted in faith and driven by urgency. We are a collective force breaking systemic barriers in Rochester, NY, ensuring that growth is shared and resilience is rewarded.

Our Mission & Purpose

To connect under-resourced individuals and families with the tools, services, and opportunities they need to thrive. Through collaborative partnerships and community-driven support, Project URGE works to remove barriers, strengthen stability, and create pathways toward long-term success.

Our Vision for the Future

We envision a community where every individual has equitable access to opportunities, resources, and support systems needed to reach their full potential—free from systemic barriers and empowered to build a stable and fulfilling future.

OUR STORY

The Resilient Canvas

Project URGE was born from the conviction that isolation is the greatest barrier to progress. In a world of fragmented services, we saw a canvas that needed more than just patches—it needed a new foundation. Our journey began in the heart of urban challenges, where faith met the pavement.

We don't believe in temporary fixes. We believe in transformative architecture. By weaving together the disparate threads of non-profits, faith organizations, and community leaders, we create a resilient tapestry that supports those often left behind.

For two decades, our work has been guided by the "Rooted Urgency" principle: act now, but build for eternity. Every program we launch and every resource we connect is designed to break the cycle of systemic poverty at its root.

JOURNEY

The Resilient Canvas:
Our Journey

Project URGE began as a response to a fractured landscape of support. While Rochester is rich in resources, many individuals found themselves trapped in the gaps between traditional services.

We recognized that the "canvas" of our city was resilient, but needed a more intentional brush. By centering our work on the most vulnerable neighborhoods, we started painting a new picture of community inter-dependence.

Today, we stand as a hub for innovation, activism, and tangible hope, proving that when faith meets action, systemic barriers begin to crumble.
