This pandemic has revealed a lot about human nature. We’ve seen the best and the worst of people’s behaviors, priorities and knee-jerk responses under the stress of COVID-19.
But it’s the random acts of kindness that continue to restore our faith in humanity and give us hope for another day.
I’m pleased to share the latter with you today.
Recently I received a call from Linda. She, like many other people, had received her government stimulus check in the mail. She could have spent it on a nice little get-away weekend or something special for herself or her family. But Linda chose to give to our ministry to help families for whom this crisis has caused great financial hardship.
And not only did she reach out to moms in our area who are struggling right now, but she used her powers of persuasion to rally her neighbors to do likewise!
We’d like to thank Linda for being a beacon of hope in these dark times, and for passing the torch of kindness and compassion to those who will light the way for others to follow.
If you’d like to join Linda and brighten the lives of those touched by Mothers In Need of Others, please consider helping us provide them with basic necessities and baby items.
